In Loving Memory of Dad – By Shubhangi Suralkar

Edited By – Akash Goel

He never looked for praises,

He was never the one to boast.

He just went on quickly working,

For the ones, he loved the most.

His dreams were seldom spoken,

His wants were very few.

And most of the time his worries,

Went unspoken too!!

A true friend we could turn to,

When times were good or bad.

One of our greatest blessings,

The man whom we called Dad.

What we’d give if we could say,

Hello, Dad, in the same old way.

To hear your voice, to sit with you.

So you who have your father,

Cherish him with care

For you’ll never know the

Heartache till you see his Vacant Chair…

I have to admit,

I was a Daddy’s girl.

He told me he loved me more than

Anyone else in the world.

I’ll keep his memory alive and

Honor all he believed,

And just feel very grateful for all his love that

I received today being an SCITian.
